GREENHAVEN WOODLAND BURIAL GROUND LIMITED

TERMS and CONDITIONS

1. The right granted to the Purchaser is for the burial of one person only.

2. After the burial, relatives and friends have the right to visit the Burial Ground during the opening hours of the Burial Ground.

3. No ornaments (including flower containers), gravestones, headstones or other form of monument shall be erected and no flowers shall be planted on the plot or any part of the Burial Ground without our approval.

4. At the time of burial, the body shall be contained in clothes, wrappings or shroud made of natural materials or an environmentally friendly coffin; agreement may be given for the use of coffins made of solid wood or wood base products provided that the wood has not been obtained from rainforests or other unsustainable sources. One plain unvarnished wooden plaque is allowed, 9”x4”, without metal or plastic.

5. Preparation of the graves must be completed to comply with requirements and specifications as laid down, from time to time, by Greenhaven Woodland Burial Ground Limited in their absolute discretion. The Company does not provide any undertaking facilities, but it can make introductions to independent third parties who will provide grave digging, transport and other attendant services. In the event that the Company makes such introductions, it does so in good faith and does not accept any liability for any dissatisfaction that may arise from the services provided by any nominated contractors.

6. Within one year from the date of burial, no more than one tree will be planted on the plot, the size and species of tree to be approved by the Greenhaven Woodland Burial Ground Limited.

7. Not to remove any body from the ground after interment.

8. Pre-paid plot fees are not refundable. However, Greenhaven may, under exceptional circumstances, allow a refund.

9. When reserving plots next to each other, there is a slight possibility that if there is a wide span in years between, this may be difficult because of tree growth

10. Greenhaven Burial Ground Limited retains the right to vary these conditions in order to comply with the terms of the Association of Nature Reserve Burial Grounds or any similar accrediting body.
